Weeks are flying by! I started my new job 11 weeks ago and having done lots of training to settle in and things are settling into a pattern and I am finding the work life balance which is what I was looking for when I changed companies.
I have caught up with communications that were outstanding and making arrangements for new events and looking forward to 2026 and everything in the calendar.
I have made some links between various places that I work with and managed to donate some practical food parcels to the lovely community at KUDP, whilst sport is my focus, my aim is always for the benefit of others.

I have started the process of returning to volunteering in parkrun with the local group who are creating a new parkrun, with the long term aims of also looking at local health and wellbeing and getting other walks etc up and running linking into the new parkrun. I learned a long time ago the link to activity and mental health and the benefits to my own wellbeing and love the idea of returning to helping others doing this.
I have started to get to know the juniors at Targetcraft after taking on the role of junior representative at their AGM and had our first fun shoot for Halloween and all juniors and seniors who took part enjoyed themselves and it was good to start to get to know each other.

I have enjoyed reading my book on the range for the last few weeks too, going to the range with the intention of being available for others means not taking my bow and read my book in the quiet space instead.
Loving the updates that I have been getting from everyone over the last few weeks, keeping me up to date with how everyone is getting on, if it’s just your own archery or schools and community groups who we continue to support.
Stay well and enjoy the indoor shooting and if, like me, you stay outdoors as much as possible – stay warm ❤️🏹☕️
And to my amazing friend, well done on finally joining us on the range and completing your beginners course – so proud of you 🥰
